    Well, Handex is seeking a highly motivated Senior Project Manager & LSRP to run and grow our consulting Contamination Assessment and Remediation Services line.

    As the SR Project Manager/LSRP, you will plan, direct and coordinate engagements, activities, reporting/analysis and other deliverables.

    Position is hybrid and will be located in Jackson, NJ and report to the Northeast Senior Project Manager of Handex.

    What will be my responsibilities?


    • As the Sr PM/LSRP, you will be the subject matter expert and manage a team of PMs.
    • Schedule, assign duties, coordinate activities and provide guidance and solutions for the technical staff based on their knowledge of specific disciplines, work to be completed and deliverables are being met. Sites may include, but are not limited to, oil refineries, active gas stations, abandoned warehouses, roadways, bridges, etc.
    • Position will involve extensive communications and relationship building with clients regarding existing and potential new projects/consulting engagements.
    • Will be responsible for leading team projects, as well as individual, this will include current active remediation systems, including permit compliance for both water discharge and air emissions to ensure deadlines.
    • Track and analyze project financial status and coordinate monthly client invoicing.
    • Keep an open line of communication with management regarding the status of all projects and financials.
    • Compose and review technical reports to ensure accuracy, clarity, and timely submittal.
    • Keep abreast of all NJDEP regulations, SOP's, and guidelines to ensure Handex activities are in compliance.
    • Create and communicate Emergency Response procedure; ensure team is available as needed.
    • LSRP certification remains active.

    Requirements


    • 10+ years of successful experience in project management, consulting and leading teams and as a LSRP in environmental remediation.
    • Must have a bachelor's degree in geology, hydrogeology, environmental sciences or engineering along with an LSRP Certification.
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, networking and relationship building skills a must.
    • proven track record of managing teams as well as coach, develop and mentor.
    • Highly proficient technical writing, research and financial acumen skills.
    • Thorough knowledge of NJDEP Site Remediation Program regulations and technical guidance documents.
    • Take charge professional with a can-do attitude to meet deadlines and assist with department growth.
    • Highly organized, detail oriented and a team player who is collaborative and cooperative with internal and external customers.
    • Willingness and ability to perform field work and travel as needed throughout New Jersey.
    • Valid driver's license in good standing.
    • Ability to pass background checks (physical/drug/alcohol/MVR).
