- Maintain, as directed, company signage, standards/systems for ski trails, to include: maintenance of grooming boards, mountain trail maps, ski trail signs, animation features, etc.
- Maintain, as directed, company and department fencing systems and installations. Maintain each type of fence to department standards including: snow fence, tensar/event fence, baffles, race areas, and crowd control, etc.
- Provide labor and leadership, as directed, for general construction and maintenance projects.
- Provide for repair and general maintenance of department vehicles, equipment and tools using vehicle maintenance write-up sheets and trail crew log sheets.
- Maintain a strong working knowledge of the mountain/trail infrastructure systems to include:
- Snowmobile routes
- Building and lift operations
- Terrain park and half pipe operations
- Ski trail names, #'s and locations
- Snowmaking system operations
- Mountain utility systems
- Avalanche protocols
- Grooming procedures and protocols
- Sign systems
- Fence systems
- Emergency protocols
- Drainage systems
- Slope modification techniques
- Timber removal/logging operations
- Basic wildfire training
- Re-vegetation techniques
- Provide general labor and leadership for on mountain and base area special events to include event set-up, support and tear down practices, etc.
- Maintain accountability for good housekeeping practices of work areas, work sites, and company vehicles/equipment.
- Maintain proficient and efficient skills in the use of department tools and equipment to include; all general maintenance/construction power and hand tools, chainsaws, snow cats, tracked vehicles, heavy equipment and heavy trucks.
- Provide assistance with in-field troubleshooting and problem solving activities.
- Maintain all appropriate department record keeping responsibilities.
- Assist with overall appropriate department and team communications.
- Perform assigned general labor and leadership duties as required to support all Mountain Operations' Departments, including: Ski/Snowboard Schools, Woodward Crew, Ski Patrol, Lift Operations, Lift Maintenance, Ambassadors, Race Crew, Food & Beverage, etc.

- Mini Winter Emergency Care [WEC] certified helpful.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Proficient skiing or snowboarding skills.
- Strong problem solving skills.
- Snowmobile/ATV operations experience and certification.
- Proficient operation skills of all department hand and power tools and light equipment.
- Extensive timber removal skills.

Location: Frisco, Colorado
Copper Mountain Resort is a vacation destination located 75 miles west of Denver, Colorado in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. Three vibrant, pedestrian-friendly village areas host lodging, retail outlets, restaurants, bars, and family activities. During the winter months, Copper's world-class terrain offers skiing and riding for all ages and abilities. Each summer, the mountain transforms into a playground for hikers, mountain bikers, and anyone seeking a genuine Colorado experience. Copper Mountain Resort is also home to Woodward Copper action-sports camps, programs, and training facility.

Job Summary:
Implement daily maintenance of ski trails and facilities on the mountain. Provide general labor for mountain/village special events. Operate department vehicles and equipment. Perform light maintenance of all department vehicles and equipment. Provide general labor for assigned construction and maintenance projects. Act in the capacity of crew/project leader on assigned projects. Maintain current knowledge of industry and company protocols/procedures on ski trails.
