    The Manager, Sourcing will be part of the US Onshore Supply Chain Management team and will support Rockies Drilling and Completions in Denver, CO managing both short and long term planning as well as in controlling program execution while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. This will be done by working closely with the Assets, Plants and Operational Support groups to gather, analyze and reconcile all necessary data to allow execution of these plans.

    Key Responsibilities:


    • Provide leadership and manage the resources necessary to deliver the goals of US onshore Drilling & Completions.

    • Directly manage the strategic sourcing, contracting, and Supplier Relationships for Drilling Rigs

    • Optimize communication between the service vendors supporting the assets to reduce the frequency of unsupported/ unplanned and manual POs.

    • Work with Finance, Legal, HES and the different stakeholder groups to qualify service vendors. Determine appropriate tender recipients for consideration in bids and proposals. Maintain and distribute lists of qualified vendors.

    • Act as the focal point in implementing critical category sourcing strategies for key categories that support the assets.

    • Provide service supplier performance management results to the Director SCM Operations, Asset Managers, Surface leads and applicable stakeholders.

    • Develop working relationships that motivate service providers to collaborate and deliver level of service and to facilitate the resolution of issues.

    • Perform market analysis for different operational services.

    • Work with the stakeholders to devise contracting strategies and create incentivized contracts where appropriate to maximize value created.

    • Provide scheduling, coordinating, and support for contracting activities and lead contract negotiations.

    • Assist Supply Chain Director as required on strategic initiatives.

    • Oversee staff development, performance evaluation and succession planning for SCM personnel within your team.
