    Summary

    Golden Apple seeks a Development and Operations Coordinator to contribute to the overall success of fundraising efforts and daily administration of the foundation.

    Reports to

    This position reports directly to the Director of Development & Special Events, but interacts and collaborates with a wide range of Golden Apple Foundation Staff

    Responsibilities

    • Maintain donor database (Raiser's Edge) to inform Development Teams fundraising strategy, including daily entry of donations and distribution of donor tax receipts
    • Assist Director of Development & Special Events in execution of annual events ranging from educational programming to fundraising events (including support with all logistical aspects of Golden Apples multi-week Scholar Institutes)
    • Manage annual end-of-year campaign in collaboration with marketing to reach fundraising goal
    • Support foundation prospect research, prep notes for meetings with funders, and help Grants Manager to maintain foundation and corporate related database records.
    • Other tasks as assigned by CEO, President, VP of Development and Chief of Staff

    Skills and Qualifications

    • Possess strong interpersonal skills in order to facilitate collaboration at all levels in organization to move the work forward
    • Ability to think analytically and present information in an organized fashion
    • Maintain the confidentiality of privileged information
    • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and effectively work on multiple projects at once
    • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Must have strong attention to detail
    • Bachelor Degree in Nonprofit Management, Business, or Communications is preferred
    • 1-2 years of experience working in a nonprofit environment is preferred.
