We are building a specialized Business Development team focused on Kubernetes and cloud-native data services with Pulse8 at the center of this motion.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively engage prospects through outbound campaigns inbound inquiries partner leads and event follow-ups focused on Kubernetes and cloud-native initiatives.
  • Conduct structured discovery conversations to uncover pain points related to: Day-2 operation Data protection resiliency lifecycle management Platform sprawl operational complexity Cost control governance for container platforms Qualify opportunities using MEDDICC / BANT-style frameworks with a strong emphasis on use-case validation technical fit.
  • Pipeline Generation & Sales Alignment Generate net-new qualified pipeline specifically for Pulse8 Kubernetes engagements Partner tightly with Field Sales Solutions Architects to progress opportunities from discovery technical validation POC workshops assessments Clearly articulate customer needs buying triggers success criteria when handing opportunities to the field team Customer Partners Engagement Educate prospects partners on DataCores Kubernetes strategy Pulse8 value proposition Support channel-led motions enabling partners identify Kubernetes opportunities existing customer bases Act trusted first point contact customers beginning expanding their Kubernetes journey Market Competitive Intelligence Track trends adoption platform standardization EKS AKS OpenShift Tanzu upstream K8s Gather competitive insights adjacent solutions Portworx OpenShift Data Foundation Longhorn etc Share actionable feedback Product Marketing Product Management refine messaging GTM strategy Operational Excellence Maintain accurate detailed opportunity records Salesforce including discovery notes personas timelines next steps Consistently meet exceed activity pipeline qualification targets Support introduction new Pulse8 features SKUs go-to-market initiatives Knowledge Skills Abilities Experience Business Development Inside Sales Technical Sales preferably software infrastructure cloud-native platforms Strong working knowledge containers DevOps workflows persistent storage k8 environments modern application architectures Proven ability conduct high-quality discovery conversations both technical business stakeholders Qualifying advancing complex multi-stakeholder sales opportunities Familiarity CRM systems Salesforce modern sales engagement tools Excellent communication skills clear confident credible technical audiences Self-starter sense urgency ownership accountability Hunter mentality paired consultative value-driven sales approach.
