$150-190k base salary + competitive bonus

Company

Our client is a renewable energy developer funded by one of clean energy's largest investment firms focused on providing clean energy solutions to businesses and communities across North America.

Due to the success of the company, they are now expanding their markets across the US in C&I solar, battery energy storage systems, and community-shared solar installations.

Their existing pipeline of 1GW+ has been recently backed by capital investment, and they are looking to add experienced talent to the team as they continue to grow.

Role

As Senior Project Developer, you will be responsible for all activities required to take a project from site control to NTP.

Development responsibilities include site/land identification, approvals, permitting, interconnection, financial modelling, through to NTP.

The ideal candidate will have proven development experience in renewable energy, specifically C&I and DG/Community solar, managing project budgets and schedules.

Collaborate with land, policy, design, and finance teams to successfully manage the overall project cycle.

As a senior member of the renewable project development business, you will have the opportunity to provide strategic input and progress upwards quickly.

Skills/experience needed

4+ years developing renewable energy projects within various ISO/RTOs across North America (NYISO, ISO-NE and MISO experience preferred, but not essential).

Experienced in every phase of project development, including site control, project design, financial modelling, due diligence, permitting and interconnection.
Expertise in developing strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Demonstrated experience in effectively communicating details and information with people inside and outside the business.
A willingness to travel is required.
