    Responsibilities

    Highlands Behavioral Health System is an 86 bed, acute care psychiatric hospital located in Littleton, CO. Highlands features individual units for adolescents, adults, and seniors, and offers inpatient acute care, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs.

    The Intake Clinician responds to all persons requesting assistance either by telephone or in person, and provides psychiatric assessment, crisis intervention and referrals to Hospital staff and services to outside sources, based on the nature of the problem(s) and financial resources. Admissions to the Hospital are facilitated through coordinated efforts with the Business Office, Utilization Review and the Department of Nursing Services.

  • Shift Hours: PRN

    Shift Differential Pay: Up to $6.00/hour

    Qualifications

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Masters Degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field required.. OR
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse through the State of Colorado Board of Registered Nursing.
  • 5 years experience in a clinical department of a psychiatric hospital and previous experience with psychiatric patients of all ages preferred.
