Summary

Develops Domain solution architecture, policies, standards, and processes that manage the lifecycle of solutions. Helps plan, estimate, design, and develop new solutions as well as educates and promotes the best practices and architecture. Partners with functional teams to address any challenges encountered in project lifecycle. Ensures that the solutions are in agreement with enterprise architecture and will meet the current and future needs of the organization.

Essential Functions

Partner with PMO and functional teams during the lifetime of a project, including design and estimation.Coordinate solution architecture implementation and modification activities.Consult with application or infrastructure development projects to fit systems or infrastructure to architecture, and identify when it is necessary to modify the solution architecture to accommodate project needs.Document all solution architecture design and analysis work.
Understand, advocate and augment the principles of information technology strategies.Analyze domain business drivers to determine corresponding change requirements.Evangelize the architecture process, its outcome and ongoing results.Analyze technology industry and market trends, and determine their potential impact on the projects.Develop guidelines, standards, and best practices
Evangelize the architecture process, its outcome and ongoing results.Help define the principles to guide solution decisions for the enterprise.Evaluate infrastructure and toolsHelp design the implementation of an ESA based on enterprise business requirements and IT strategies.Facilitate the evaluation and selection of software product standards, as well as the design of standard software configurations.

Skills and Abilities

Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments
Strong knowledge of Service Fabric, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Data Factory is required
Effective leadership skills (preferred)
Demonstrates analytical skills: Excellent analytical and technical skills(preferred)
Strong verbal and written communication skills (preferred)
Excellent planning and organizational skills(preferred)
Knowledge of all components of an enterprise technical architecture(preferred)
Knowledge of business process re-engineering principles and processes(preferred)
Basic knowledge of financial models and budgeting(preferred)
Strong understanding of network architecture and application development methodologies(preferred)
Strong understanding of SOA, object-oriented analysis and design, and/or client/server systems(preferred)
Ability to understand the long-term ("big picture") and short-term perspectives of situations(preferred)
Ability to translate business needs into solution architecture requirements(preferred)
Ability to estimate the financial impact of solution architecture alternatives(preferred)
Ability to apply multiple technical solutions to business problems(preferred)
Ability to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies(preferred)
SOA design and implementation advanced required
Software Development Life Cycle and Agile Development advanced required
Enterprise Application Integration advanced preferred

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required Computer science, systems analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience
Ten (10) years or more at least two IT disciplines in a client/server or service-oriented architecture (SOA) environment, including technical architecture, network management, application development, middleware, database management or operations. required
Five (5) years or more Domain architecture required
SOA design and implementation advanced required
Software Development Life Cycle and Agile Development advanced required
Enterprise Application Integration advanced preferred

Salary is determined based on internal equity; internal salary ranges; market

data/ranges; applicants skills; prior relevant experience; certain degrees or

certifications, etc.The salary for this position ranges from $130,000.00 to $150,000. Salaries may be supplemented with a bonus as applicable and/or as business conditions allow.
