    Description

    Made to Order Holdings, LLC is a licensed Franchisee for Whataburger and is developing 40+ restaurants over the next several years. This venture is bringing one of the most iconic Restaurant brands to the metro Atlanta market.

    Our Human Resources Manager will be responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of HR functions of our restaurants, including general Human Resource leadership and development endeavors, compliance with employment laws, regulations and legal matters, recruiting, employee relations issues, and benefits and compensation-related items.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Culture - Promote the company mission and vision through the collaboration and development of initiatives to advance a culture that aligns with the brand's values of Pride, Care, & Love.
    • General HR Administration, Leadership & Development – Partner with leadership and corporate stakeholders to achieve strategic goals and initiatives by developing, implementing, and managing HR best practices, programs, policies, solutions, and opportunities for continuous improvement in onboarding, employee engagement, training and development, and retention strategies for enhanced employee satisfaction, productivity, and preservation for multiple restaurant locations with a projected employee count of 900 expected by year-end.
    • Compliance & Legal – Analyze, monitor and recommend HR and Management policies, procedures, and practices to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, regulations and best practices, and supervise and administer compliance training, leave, accommodation, and return to work processes, annual compliance audits, and the safety program.
    • Recruiting – Partner with operational leadership and third-party firms to support organizational growth within the recruitment process, ensuring an external pipeline and qualified candidate pool of talent is maintained while delivering a positive candidate experience.
    • Employee Relations – Support and coach regarding employee relations strategies and best practices, including overseeing and handling complex employee relation issues, escalated employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations, and establishing and managing offboarding processes.
    • Benefits & Compensation – Assist and support corporate Human Resources with benefits and compensation plan design, administer established plans, oversee day-to-day benefits inquiries, new hire and annual enrollment, ACA compliance, and provide current and prospective employees with information about policies and employee benefits.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or related field preferred.
    • 5+ years' experience as an HR Manager or a similar senior HR role, with experience in the quick service restaurant (QSR) industry or general hospitality industry is required.
    • In-depth knowledge of federal and state labor law and HR best practices in Georgia.
    • Strong service-oriented and results-driven leadership and management skills.
    • Solid understanding of data analysis and HR metrics to drive informed decision-making.
    • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP preferred.
    • Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
