    Audiologists: Bring your excellent clinical skills and passion for patient care to Portland, Maine

    Since 1924, Northeast Hearing & Speech has been serving those with communication challenges in Portland, Maine and its surrounding communities. We are seeking an energetic, compassionate Audiologist to add to our team to meet the growing needs of the community in Southern Maine.

    A day in the life will include:

    • Collaboration with 2 Audiologists and 15 Speech-Language Pathologists
    • Gathering patient history, building rapport, establishing trust
    • Conducting hearing testing, counseling patients, and making recommendations for hearing aids and varied treatment options
    • Programming and fitting hearing aids, providing appropriate follow-up care which adheres to best practice
    • Presenting the value of hearing health care, your services, and the long term effects of hearing aid use
    • Primarily adult focused work with the opportunity to see pediatric clients for Un-sedated ABR, OAE, VRA & conditioned play, if interested
    • Potential for supervision of a 4th year resident

    Qualifications:

    • Advanced Degree in Audiology – Au.D. or Masters
    • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
    • Active and current audiology licensure

    • Proficiency in audiology equipment and hearing aids

    Salary: $68,000-80,000 + Sales and Services Incentive Plan
