Job Description
An employer in Tampa, Florida is looking for a remote Azure Security Architect


This person will:
Review and provide recommendations on Azure architecture based on business needs
Recommend security frameworks and native CSP tools to help secure the cloud environment
Research, create and script policies as code for Azure services using YAML, CloudFormation, terraform and other relevant scripting languages.
Develop policies that automate and enforce security controls in cloud environments
Formulate and script policies for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scanning, addressing misconfigurations and compliance issues
Integrate IaC scanning into CI/CD pipelines
Develop policy frameworks for Cloud-Native Application Protection Platform (CNAPP) using scripting tools
Ensure policies cover key CNAPP functionalities (ex. runtime protection and container security)

Skills and Requirements
5+ years of experience with Azure security and specific experience building out Azure security architecture
Experience reviewing cloud architectures and determining effective security
Experience in codifying security controls across different cloud resource types
Experience describing applicable security controls based on native cloud service type with considerations on key security principles, industry best practices and risk
Experience with YAML, Cloud Formation, and/or Terraform
Experience with Policy as Code development, IaC Code Policy Formation, and CNAAP Policy Framework Development null
