    Job Description Summary

    Responsible for driving sales by proactively and reactively marketing Transamerica as a premier provider of mutual funds, annuities, and insurance products. This is accomplished by developing new business leads and cultivating existing relationships, demonstrating excellent problem solving skills to promote the sale of Transamerica Investment products.

    Responsibilities

    • Establish and maintain ongoing relationship with Regional Vice Presidents (RVP) with a common goal of increasing company's share of mutual funds, annuity, and insurance marketplace as well as visibility of Transamerica's products and dedicated sales support and service through proactive calling (45 outbound phone calls or 55 total calls, both inbound and outbound).
    • Daily contact with RVP (i.e. territory coverage, relationship building in accordance with business plan and/or sales goals.)
    • Document all proactive activity and pertinent issues in the CRM system i.e. appointments, thank you calls, monthly call campaigns and Sales opportunities etc.
    • Participate actively in the development and successful execution of the territory business plan.
    • Productively work together with other home office departments , the Regional Vice Presidents, Division Vice President's, Relationship Manager's and Internal Relationship Mangers to effectively service the selling relationships.
    • Demonstrate excellent listening skills to better assess a representative's needs and determine the type of sales support necessary to accomplish the objective, adding value to the products, service and sales support delivered.
    • Keep the Sales Desk Manager appraised of any concerns for meeting set goals, need for clarifying duties and any training development needs that will result in greater performance and personal growth.

    Qualifications

    • BS or BA degree required or equivalent industry experience.
    • Currently holds Series 7/6 Securities License (Series 63 if applicable) or obtain within 6 months of hire.
    • Current Life Insurance License.
    • Intermediate level personal computer skills including electronic mail, work processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in the financial services industry

    Working Conditions

    • Hybrid/with occasional overnight travel.

    Compensation

    Please note that the compensation information that follows is a good faith estimate for this position only and is provided pursuant to applicable pay transparency and compensation posting laws. It is estimated based on what a successful candidate might be paid in certain Company locations.

    Total compensation is targeted at between $83,000 to $110,000 per year. See breakout below.

    The non-exempt range for this position is generally between 48, ,000 in annual base pay.

    This position is also currently eligible for sales and/or performance incentives. Specifics will be reflected in individual incentive plan documents. The commission variable target is 50, ,000, paid monthly based on applicable sales incentive plan (s).
