- Supervise and guarantee adherence to GAAP across all accounting practices.
- Regularly engage with various departments to comprehend existing challenges and procedures, such as AP, AR, Orders.
- Assess current procedures and drive enhancements for improved documentation, efficiency, technological advancements, growth, and scalability. This includes analyzing:
- Order protocols and relevant technology
- AP procedures and technologies including Bill.com
- AR and billing practices
- Evaluate Project Management tools to support Financial projects, schedules, and present status
- Collaborate cross-departmentally with partners in Revenue Operations and Customer Success, etc.
- Maintain updated knowledge and compliance with state registration and sales tax regulations
- Assist in preparing for audits and liaise with auditors as necessary
- Offer guidance and assistance to the accounting team
- Supervise and distribute tasks to ensure a streamlined workflow in the accounting division
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- Have over 5 years of advanced accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial capacity
- Possess strong analytical abilities with competence in accounting software (familiarity with GAAP is advantageous)
- Experience in financial data analysis and reporting
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Ability to excel in a dynamic environment, juggle multiple priorities, and adjust to evolving business requirements
