    About Our Client

    The client is a large Imaging company located in Chandler, AZ. This role is based hybrid.

    Job Description

    Using established guidelines, this position is responsible to perform the complete Accounts Payable function for two divisions, ensuring that all accounts are properly paid, and that all invoices are posted to provide accurate management reports include but not limited to:

    - Assemble, review and verify invoices and check requests

    - Sort, code and match invoices and enter invoices into system

    - Review expenditures in Concur and company American Express account and code accordingly

    - Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments

    - Prepare and perform check runs and book wire payments

    - Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date

    - Reconcile accounts payable transactions

    - Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues

    - Maintain vendor files, create new vendors and update vendors as required

    - Assist with month end closing including vendor accruals

    * Under general supervision, this position will also perform general accounting functions for a specific division to include but not limited to:

    - Analyze general ledger accounts and post correcting entries

    - Post accrual transactions - Assist with month end closing

    - Assist in the preparation of the quarterly Re-Forecast and yearly Budget

    * Assist with journal entries, monthly status reports and closings

    * Assist in Fixed Asset management (Acquisition, Retirements and Depreciation)

    * File and maintain clerical records and reports pertinent to accounting and bookkeeping

    * Provide supporting documentation for audits

    * Maintain confidentiality of organizational information

    * Perform additional duties as requested.

    The Successful Applicant

    Bachelor's Degree preferably in Accounting/Finance

    * 2+ year experience in Accounts Payable

    * Working knowledge of accounting systems, ERP; strong computing skills (Microsoft Office)

    * Ability to communicate effectively

    * Detail oriented and analytical skills

    * Decision Making and Proactive attitude

    * Ability to understand company products, manufacturing operations, distribution and retail organization.

    * Excellent personal relationship skills

    * Builds positive working relationships

    * Team player with the ability to work independently and unsupervised as required
