    Works on multiple projects at a time as a project team member. Supports project teams on large complex projects. Provides Configuration Release Management expertise on the Project.

    Works on processes or procedures that are complex and impact entire departments or lines of business.

    Minimum Qualifications


    Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, mathematics, business, or other related disciplines or four years of equivalent direct experience.

    Candidate must have three years of relevant work experience in administering and managing Configuration Management.
    Experience using configuration management tools.
    Experience with change management, both functional and technical, policies and procedures, and the change control process.
    Experience maintaining control of all environments including production.
    Experience with Windows platforms.
    Experience with MS SQL.
    Experience with or knowledge of PC, server and network hardware.

    Duties and Responsibilities


    This position will establish and execute consistent, repeatable software build and release processes tracking and controlling the promotion of project software and hardware products and documentation between the development, Test and Production environments.

    Interface with IT Project Management, Developers, Enterprise Architects, Production Support, other team members and vendors to ensure reliable and successful configuration management and release management.

    Determine the cross-functional issues that arise during the planning of releases, and support the resolution of the issues.
    Function as Tidal Job Scheduler application administrator. Ensure application is operational 24x7 by implementing patches and performing troubleshooting to resolve issues and incident tickets. Manage and execute application upgrades. Work with application vendor to drive resolution for issues that require opening production support tickets. Enable automation between Tidal application and other IT systems to improve work processes and workflows.

    Proactively maintain, monitor and manage infrastructure inventory and usage in an effort to minimize contention and optimize use/re-use of environment resources.

    Manage a mechanism for capturing and processing hardware and software promotion requests and providing information on environment usage and provisioning.

    Provide subject matter expertise for code deployment and configuration management tools and standards based on industry best practices.
    Coordinate builds of a release with Quality Assurance, application and systems infrastructure teams as necessary.

    Manage list of releases including release contents and dates, coordinating this list with the Change Authorization Board (CAB) and the Program Office.

    Assist in identifying and resolving conflicts between product releases.
    Create monthly reports of number of changes by application.
    Evaluate changes to uncover patterns in changes. This will allow discovery of missing system requirements, known Errors and potential operational procedures.
    Provide input to project estimates.
