    Description
    Job Description This position shares management responsibility over food service operations as assigned. The Assistant Manager will manage organize and participate in the daily dining service activities.

    Must demonstrate hands-on personnel management leadership and have a strong desire and ability to achieve the department and university goals.

    Manage two leaders 25 union employees and 5 part time and student employees.

    Schedule employees and review/approve workhours and benefit time Organize and supervise small and large scale catering events and special dining functions as needed Communicate and implement operational goals policies and University protocol to supervisors and staff Minimum Qualifications Demonstrate successful management of staff.

    Excellent communication skills strong organizational and leadership skills and customer service expertise Knowledge of Micros POS food production program Microsoft Office Suite Kronos Ability to problem solve with minimal supervision.
