- Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation.
- Complete opening and closing duties including setting up necessary supplies and tools, cleaning all equipment and areas, locking doors, etc.
- Set up, stock, and maintain work areas.
- Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines.
- Input orders into the cash register system and collect payment from customer.
- Work alongside Baristas to ensure proper guest service and order accuracy.
- Assist guests on the sales floor with any questions or product location.
- Speak with others using clear and professional language.
- Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
- Ensure consistent cleanliness of guest facing areas.
- Count banks at end of shift, complete designated cashier reports, resolve any discrepancies, drop off receipts, and secure bank.
- Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures, and complete safety training and certifications.
- Verify the legal drinking age of guests and refuse service to those who are underage or intoxicated.
- Recognize signs of intoxication and handle situations appropriately.
- Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.
- Assist with restocking of retail products in Sandhill Provisions.
- Engage in a positive guest focused environment.
- All other duties as required.
- 2 years of hospitality and cashiering experience, customer service focus
- Food, alcohol, and safety certifications under FL requirements.
- Experience with cash handling
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact with a wide range of people.
- Capable of performing the role in a busy work environment.
- Proficient in reading safety procedures and operating guidelines.
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift.
- Proficient in standard industry computer systems (POS, work order systems, inventory, etc.).
- Able to safely lift, pull and push up to 25 pounds.
- Able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, bend, and reach.
- Subject to environmental conditions, work activities can occur inside and outside.
