    This position requires a Master's Degree in one of the following areas: School Psychology, Speech-Language Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Special Education Teacher.

    This is a hybrid position that requires in person meetings for business development.

    SALARY RANGE:
    $50,000 - $100,000

    Who We're Hoping to Find

    One of our unique strengths is our deep understanding of school Special Education services.

    We have a strong team of Teachers, Occupational Therapists and Speech-Language Pathologists in our administration staff and we are looking to add another School Special Education team member who is open to pivoting their role to be a business and recruiting partner.

    Their valuable insight and experience would help us connect more organically with our districts and specialist team. They would also be a resource and mentor in their profession. This person would have the heart for school services and the mind and energy to succeed in business. Additionally, they would share in our mission of using ethical practices and committing to social equity and sustainability.


    Your weekly tasks would include:

    • Business development including research, outreach and advocacy
    • Full cycle recruiting including: posting positions; interviewing candidates; liaising with clients; assisting with onboarding tasks if required
    • Mentoring and creating resources in your professional area
    • Utilizing applications to track onboarding and client details
    • Collaborating with team to ensure goals are met
    • Administrative tasks for the team
    • Answering candidate & employee emails
    • Special projects as needed

    What you'll Need:

    • Professional Special Education experience in the schools
    • Be a self-starter who takes initiative, is resourceful and innovative
    • Be comfortable meeting and advocating with school and business professionals
    • Be familiar with Microsoft Office 365 applications and Zoom
    • Have interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly build rapport
    • Have strong organizational skills
    • Have effective written and verbal communication
    • Be open-minded and collaborative; be able to adapt to changes
    • Have attention to detail
    • Strong drive to succeed
    • Desire and skills to work as a part of a team

    To start, you'll be training with our small team and we are always available to guide you and troubleshoot with you, but we do expect initiative and problem solving skills on your side.

    We'll work with you to design the hours and days that would work best for you while still meeting the needs of our team and clients.

    There's an ebb and flow of work, with some weeks (not too often) requiring increased hours as well as weeks of having a lighter load.


    Flexibility in location:

    With most of our team on the West Coast, we would prefer to work with a team member that is comfortable aligning to Pacific Standard Time.

    We would also welcome candidates in our new and growing states of Texas, Nevada, and Utah. A strong and reliable internet connection is also a must for this position.
