The department of Emergency Medicine at Indiana University Health and IU School of Medicine is pleased to announce a search for the Vice Chair of Equity and Inclusion.

The selected candidate will provide vision and leadership in DEI and lead the development, implementation and oversight of programs and initiatives designed to create an environment where DEI are embedded in the departmental culture
Serve on the departmental senior leadership team
assess departmental benchmark performance in inclusive excellence
monitor metrics applicable to the AAMC diversity engagement survey, retention and promotion demographics

provide vision and leadership for equity and inclusion initiatives across the department's tripartite mission, including clinical are, research and education.

MD or PhD preferred
