The Radiology Department at the Perelman School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania, is seeking individuals for Assistant Professor roles in the non-tenure clinician-educator pathway.
Applicants should hold an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or an equivalent degree and be board-eligible or certified by the American Board of Radiology. Completion of a musculoskeletal imaging fellowship is highly recommended.
Responsibilities include daily clinical supervision, teaching of residents and fellows, and active participation in interdisciplinary conferences with various clinical specialties.
Clinical duties involve providing service in typical clinical areas such as PF, CT, MRI, and arthrograms/joint aspirations. Proficiency in diagnostic MSK US and image-guided tumor biopsies is essential.
The appointed individual will contribute to the Musculoskeletal Imaging off-hours on-call schedule, covering evenings, nights, and weekends.
Research tasks may encompass developing a specialized research portfolio in the field of Musculoskeletal Imaging. Moreover, mentoring trainees in their clinical or basic research pursuits is expected.
Penn Radiology delivers clinical services to various medical centers and outpatient facilities in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
