    Description

    Responsibilities:

    Analyze failures, implement corrective and preventative actions to respond to customer complaints (both internal and external).

    Communicate clearly and confidently with respect to technical matters internally, with suppliers, customers, and sister divisions.

    Initiate actions as it is required to ensure project/team success

    Prepare accurate and timely PPAPs for customers. Review and approve supplier PPAPs.

    Perform quality audits of supplier operating systems as required.

    Travel to supplier/customer locations to resolve problems and initiate containment as necessary. Overnight travel may be required in some cases.

    Provide technical support and training to engineering and manufacturing departments/personnel.

    Participate in Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and feasibility review meetings.

    Join and support the Internal Audit Team. Perform internal audits as necessary.

    Manage the MRB hold area

    Follow all plant and office safety rules.

    Perform other related duties as assigned.

    Leadership Responsibilities:

    Strong problem-solving skills with ability to teach basic problem-solving techniques to facilitate problem solving team events.

    Strong communication, presentation, and team skills.

    Excellent oral and written communication skills.

    Self-motivated with a high level of initiative.

    Able to lead and facilitate cross functional teams.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    Complete understanding of all elements required in an AIAG formatted PPAP.

    Proficient in quality analysis tools such as 8D, and PFMEA.

    Comprehensive understanding of ISO 9001 requirements.

    Fluent in English

    Able to teach and lead problem-solving teams

    Proficient in the use of MS Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)

    Demonstrate leadership skills with suppliers, customers, and team members.
