- Provide troubleshooting assistance for the designated production area.
- Assist the production leads and process technicians in performing work observations and problem-solving activities for the designated production area.
- Assist in the updating of production processes to ensure quality and reduce cost in the product.
- Responsible for creating clear work instructions.
- Train operators in the updated production processes through the use of work instructions.
- Support quality and lean initiatives.
- Perform all other related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
- Analytic skills: Ability to use MS Office, 3-D modeling software to effectively identify issues, summarize data, and present information in an intelligent way for managers and directors to make effective decisions.
- A motivated, self-started with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Problem solving and strong analytical skills a must.
- Ability to communicate with employees at all levels of the company.
- Ability to design, carry-out, and document tests.
- Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma methodologies desired, but not required.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
- Regular attendance and good work ethic.
- Ability to take supervision and get along well with others.
- Safely perform essential job responsibilities.
- Ability to read, write and understand English.
- Must be able to pass background check and drug screen
