    Description

    Financial Analyst at ProCare Rx

    SUMMARY: The Financial Analyst will support the Vice President Finance in preparing both internal and external GAAP-based financial reports and analysis for multiple lines of business and legal entities at ProCare Rx. Collaborate closely with the VP Finance and team members from various accounting and finance functions.


    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Prepare and review monthly financial statements following GAAP and external reporting standards, as well as internal reporting.
    • Assist business unit managers in analyzing financial data, including trend analysis, pro-formas, forecasts, and monitoring key financial metrics.
    • Aid in budget and forecast preparation, analyzing variances from actual.
    • Simplify complex financial topics for non-finance staff.
    • Identify daily bank account activities.
    • Reconcile bank accounts for various corporate entities.
    • Create and maintain general ledger account reconciliations.
    • Post journal entries in the accounting software.
    • Manage the fixed asset ledger and prepare related schedules.
    • Participate in year-end audits and month-end financial statement preparation, cash flow analysis, and budgeting.
    • Support quarterly and annual tax filings.


    QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
    • 3 years of diverse financial analysis experience, ideally in public accounting.
    • Experience in auditing and tax work.
    • Advanced MS Excel proficiency, including Vlookup and Pivot tables.
    • Understanding of fundamental business finance concepts.
    • Strong problem-solving abilities.
    • Preferably familiar with Management Reporter.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
    Role involves sitting, standing, and occasional light lifting.
