- Manage end-to-end payroll processes for Canadian employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in payroll processing.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and other HR-related matters.
- Stay updated on changes in Canadian and US payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Support HR initiatives such as performance management, employee relations, and recruitment as needed.
- Assist in the recruitment process by scheduling interviews, coordinating candidate communications, and maintaining applicant tracking systems.
- Post job openings on relevant platforms and assist in drafting job descriptions.
- Assist in the preparation of HR-related documents.
- Support the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks.
- Assist employees with benefits-related inquiries and help resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive HR information with discretion.
- 2- 3 years experience in managing payroll.
- Experience working with retail in Canada is a plus
