    Consulting Skills

  • Client delivery as part of an on-site or remote project team
  • Demonstrate the capacity to plan assigned work and identify priorities/interesting parties of the project/assignment
  • Present to team members and client contacts the main ideas, critical points and decisions required to be made, demonstrating a capacity to lead within teams
  • Manage, organize and prioritize work activities & assignments to achieve deadlines while communicating effectively with clients, internal stakeholders and leadership
  • Perform research and business analysis to solve for customer business challenges/issues to present unique, tailored solutions utilizing both quantitative and qualitative data
  • Utilize intermediate methodological concepts to prepare client deliverables utilizing tools like PowerPoint, Excel, Access, MS Project and Visio
  • Collaborate with internal and client project team members, and contribute to internal communications and readiness activity within the program team and with client groups
  • Provide status reporting of progress, dependencies, issues, risks and overall program health
  • Participate in the work of one of the functions tracks of a project or in a PMO
  • Maintain program sites as a repository for all project information
  • Business Expertise Skills

  • Support practice, thought leadership, and people development activities firmwide
  • Demonstrate a deep knowledge of the issues related to the business unit/line, including a knowledge of recent topics/industry trends
  • Participates in the sharing of knowledge and experiences within the firm, acting as an active member with internal knowledge-share oriented activities and organizations
  • Share experiences related to business issues and demonstrate a capacity for knowledge transfer amongst peers and junior staff
  • Business Development Skills

  • Relay information relevant to new business activities and prospects to manager, team, and business unit/line leaders
  • Participate in business development activities such as identifying and qualifying business opportunities, networking and relationship development, and preparing, coordinating, and developing pitches and proposals
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required preferably in finance, accounting, or risk management
  • 2+ years of recent client facing management consulting experience
  • Certified Independent Auditor strongly preferred
  • Capable of executing internal audit readiness assessments
  • Understanding of risk management and RCSA
  • Broad product and business line exposure within financial services
