    Required Qualifications:
    Must be a high school graduate or have passed the G.E.D. equivalency examination.
    Requires a minimum of three (3) years of accounting experience, preferably within a school district setting.

    Possess strong knowledge of computer applications as related to specific job functions, including basic working knowledge of computerized accounting systems.

    Knowledge of current financial software, internal accounts software and other applicable software.

    The ability to analyze, interpret and understand the following:

    The Florida Statutes, the State Board of Education Regulations, Financial and Program Cost Accounting and Reporting for Florida Schools and Clay County School Board Policies as they relate to Internal Accounts.

    Must be self-directed, detail oriented and possess the ability to multitask in a high-paced, deadline-driven environment.

    Possess strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills with demonstrated ability to coordinate and collaborate with as well as provide direct support to Staff.


    Desired Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting or a related field, from an accredited college or university. Emphasis on courses in accounting and auditing.#J-18808-Ljbffr
