- Reviewing and understanding formulas.
- Prepare work area and check equipment.
- Receiving, counting, verifying and recording lot numbers and quantities.
- Responsible for programing the industrial mixer, checking dough temperature and making adjustments if necessary, placing dough into dough troughs, labeling and dating each batch made.
- Able to add ingredients to the dough mixer as required per formula instructions.
- Complete the required production paperwork and systematically reporting all material used and the return form for all ingredients left at the end of the shift.
- Report to upper management when equipment needs maintenance and to the supervisor or manager when accidents or incidents occur.
- Training new hires.
- All employees are required to immediately report and assist in the elimination or control of any food safety issues they observe to their supervisor
- Monitors and enforces cGMPs
- Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices and Pre-requisite programs
- Ability to understand written and oral direction in English and/or Spanish.
- Stand/walk for 8+ hours.
- Frequently lift and/or carry up to 50 Lbs.
- Frequently push/pull up to 50 Lbs.
- Ability to use office equipment, scanners, computers, etc.
