    Job Summary:

    This position is responsible for preparing dough for production lines and ensuring the quality and safety of the product.

    Essential Job Functions

    • Reviewing and understanding formulas.
    • Prepare work area and check equipment.
    • Receiving, counting, verifying and recording lot numbers and quantities.
    • Responsible for programing the industrial mixer, checking dough temperature and making adjustments if necessary, placing dough into dough troughs, labeling and dating each batch made.
    • Able to add ingredients to the dough mixer as required per formula instructions.
    • Complete the required production paperwork and systematically reporting all material used and the return form for all ingredients left at the end of the shift.
    • Report to upper management when equipment needs maintenance and to the supervisor or manager when accidents or incidents occur.
    • Training new hires.

    Food Safety Responsibilities

    • All employees are required to immediately report and assist in the elimination or control of any food safety issues they observe to their supervisor
    • Monitors and enforces cGMPs
    • Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices and Pre-requisite programs

    Qualifications/Physical Requirements

    • Ability to understand written and oral direction in English and/or Spanish.
    • Stand/walk for 8+ hours.
    • Frequently lift and/or carry up to 50 Lbs.
    • Frequently push/pull up to 50 Lbs.
    • Ability to use office equipment, scanners, computers, etc.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Schedule: Available to work different shifts.
