Job Title: Inpatient Psychiatry Locums Coverage

In a secure and locked facility in Suffolk, VA, we require a skilled psychiatrist to provide locums coverage. The ideal candidate will be experienced in treating patients with various mental health disorders.

Job Details:

Setting: Adult Inpatient Psychiatric Facility
Reason for Coverage: Short-term leave of the current psychiatrist
Average Number of Patients Per Day:

Weekday: 8
Weekend: 16-20

Total Beds: 54
Psychiatrists in Group: 3
Supervision Responsibilities: None
EMR System: EPIC
Referral/Transfer Protocol: Conduit Access Center (OH)

Safety Measures:

Locked facility
CPI-trained staff
Campus police rounding
Ability to call a code

Treatment Requirements:

Anxiety Disorders

ADD/ADHD
Personality Disorders
Eating Disorders
Developmental Disorders
Pschotic Disorders
Organic Disorders

Required Experience:

Involuntary Commitments
Seclusion Therapy
Pharmacotherapy
Restraint Application

Credentialing Timeline:
