    Description

    APN Healthcare Solutions is urgently hiring multiple X-ray Technicians for our client in Portland, OR for a 13 weeks contract with a very high likelihood of multiple extensions ** No local candidates, address must be outside a 50 mile radius **

    Job Description: X-ray Technologist Experience: 1 + years of relevant experience

    Pay rate: $50-55/hr DOE

    Shift: 3x10's

    Hours: Night 3x10-Hour (19:00 - 05:30)

    Certification Required: Active ARRT, BLS required.

    Responsibilities:

    Perform Diagnostic Imaging Procedures: Operate X-ray equipment and associated machinery to produce high-quality images of patients' internal structures. Follow established protocols and physician orders to perform various diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and fluoroscopy, ensuring accurate positioning of patients and appropriate exposure settings. Use radiation protection measures to minimize patient and staff exposure to ionizing radiation and Image Processing

    Job Description: X-ray Technologist

    Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated X-ray Technologist to join our healthcare facility and provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services. As an X-ray Technologist, you will be responsible for operating X-ray equipment to capture images of patients' internal structures, assisting physicians in diagnosing medical conditions, and ensuring the safety and comfort of patients throughout the imaging process. This role requires technical proficiency, attention to detail, excellent interpersonal skills, and a commitment to patient care.

    Responsibilities:

    Perform Diagnostic Imaging Procedures : Operate X-ray equipment and associated machinery to produce high-quality images of patients' internal structures.

    Follow established protocols and physician orders to perform various diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and fluoroscopy, ensuring accurate positioning of patients and appropriate exposure settings.

    Use radiation protection measures to minimize patient and staff exposure to ionizing radiation.

    Image Processing and Documentation: Review and evaluate images for technical quality, ensuring proper identification and labeling.

    Utilize digital imaging systems and computer software to process and enhance images, adjusting contrast and density as needed for accurate interpretation.

    Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, procedural documentation, and image files.

    Equipment Maintenance and Quality Control: Perform routine maintenance on X-ray equipment, ensuring proper functioning and reporting any malfunctions or discrepancies to the appropriate personnel.

    Adhere to quality control and assurance protocols, performing regular checks on equipment and accessories to ensure optimal image quality and safety standards.

    Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including examination rooms and equipment storage areas.
