    Receptionist/Administrative Assistant

    Job Summary:

    As a Receptionist/Administrative Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing prompt and courteous assistance.

    You will support various departments or sites by managing incoming calls, welcoming visitors, scheduling appointments, and assisting with administrative tasks.

    This is a short-term role lasting three months.


    Key Responsibilities:
    Serve as the primary point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring professional and efficient communication.

    Receive and direct calls in a courteous manner, transferring them to the appropriate department or individual.

    Greet visitors warmly, assist with sign-in procedures, and explain safety protocols.

    Manage incoming and outgoing mail, including courier services, and maintain the postage machine.

    Schedule appointments, meetings, and conference rooms as needed.

    Coordinate lunch orders for employees and visitors.

    Assist in managing office supplies, placing orders, and maintaining stockroom organization.

    Communicate with vendors and suppliers regarding plant/site shutdowns or service disruptions.

    Maintain badges for new hires, contractors, and visitors.

    Support administrative projects and other tasks as assigned.

    Additional Manager Notes This role requires a friendly and outgoing personality, with a focus on answering phone calls. Soft skills are essential. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. Onsite interviews will be scheduled when the manager is ready.

    Pay Rate:
    $19 per hour
