- The Fleet Engineer supports the Port Engineer in the maintenance, repair, and regulatory compliance of all American Cruise Lines' (ACL) certificated vessels and launches.
- This position reports directly to the regional Port Engineer.
- Take supervision and direction from Port Engineer.
- Maintains responsibility for record keeping, including machinery history, parts inventory and reporting data to the Port Engineer.
- Provides technical information and guidance to shipboard ERAs (engine room attendants) and crew directly, as directed by Port Engineers.
- Ensures vessel compliance with all USCG, USPH, FDA, EPA, and other federal regulations
- Ability to learn and take direction from port engineer.
- Vendor maintenance shops, paint shop, various buildings and storage areas.
