    • 44 Bed Surgical Unit specializing in elective spine surgeries, orthopedic procedures, telemetry, pulse ox monitoring, and care for trauma injuries.

    Job Summary and Qualifications:

    Role Summary: Lead the delivery of professional nursing care to ensure patient comfort and well-being. Use the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care, interventions, and teaching.

    Qualifications:

    • Required Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing or enrollment in a BSN program, with a requirement to obtain BSN within 5 years for RN positions with less than 10 years of experience.
    • Preferred Education: Masters in Nursing.
    • Required License/Certifications: Current RN licensure in North Carolina.
    • Certificate: BLS Healthcare Provider.
    • Preferred License/Certifications: National Certification in specialty area.
    • Preferred Experience: One year of hospital nursing experience.
