    In addition to hospital-based services, we also support a wide variety of aortic and vascular surgeons. Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital is nestled in the beautiful Roanoke Valley in Virginia's Blue Ridge Mountains, an area full of experiences and opportunities for everyone

    Job duties and responsibilities include:

    • Demonstrate proficiency with skills and knowledge to perform noninvasive vascular ultrasound examinations, assess technical data and provide preliminary results, and assist in the interpretation of exams
    • Exam types include:
    • Visceral arterial/venous
    • Cerebrovascular - including TCDI
    • Peripheral venous
    • Peripheral arterial
    • Vascular surgery OR procedures - pre, intra, and post-operative evaluations

    What We Require:

    Education:
    High school graduate or equivalent. Graduate of approved School of Ultrasound or equivalent training.

    Experience:
    Vascular ultrasound experience preferred but not required.

    Licensure, certification, and/or registration RVT (ARDMS) or RVS (CCI) in Vascular Sonography. ARDMS or CCI. CPR certification required.

    Other:
    Good interpersonal, technical skills and flexibility in assignments.
