    As a Senior Node JS Developer, a typical day will include...

    • Developing new features and applications
    • Collaborating, coaching, and mentoring other team members while maintaining high levels of productivity
    • Understanding the business goals and objectives to build the right technical solutions
    • Breaking down complex stories into digestible sub-tasks and identifying the required effort
    • Working within an Agile environment
    • Identifying bottlenecks within delivery processes as they occur and being able to help influence behaviours within the team to help resolve these and protect the technical delivery
    • Researching and developing new features/technologies/applications/integrations
    • Building new microservices
    • Maintaining current codebase and keeping up to date with the latest package versions.

    This role is a fit for you if you have...

    • Experience using within a commercial environment
    • Experience working with Typescript
    • Solid RESTful API design fundamentals
    • Experience with Version Control (Git)
    • Worked with Relational Databases (MySQL, MSSQL)
    • Extensive knowledge of JavaScript, web stacks, libraries, and frameworks
    • Experience mentoring, coaching, and training team members
    • Analytical and positive mindset with a personable and professional approach
    • Professional written and verbal communication.

    Bonus Points...

    • Worked with NestJS, TypeOrm
    • Worked with Queueing system such as RabbitMQ
    • Knowledge of Angular 8+
    • Knowledge of at least one of the big Cloud providers
    • Understand microservices architecture.
