    Job Summary
    The Installation Trainer role provides installation training and technical support to external and internal customers.

    This position works both independently and directly with the Outside Sales team in presenting product trainings at on-site or virtual locations.

    Daily duties will include managing multiple inquiries, requests, assignments, and projects, and effectively communicating technical information to non-technical people.

    The position also assists Testing and Certification Engineers in coordinating and implementing test projects and maintaining test lab & equipment.

    Essential Job Functions * Maintain and develop consistent and educational trainings based on Roxtec Installation Instructions and the core structure within the Installation Training program for groups and individuals in a wide array of business environments.


    • Develop a strong technical and functional knowledge of the entire Roxtec product offering.
    • Effectively schedule and coordinate travel to & from installation trainings along with training product.
    • Proficient in public speaking, hands-on demonstrations, teaching, and presentations for customers including technicians, contractors, engineers, project managers, inspectors, owners, and internal company personnel.
    • Execute internal testing projects in cooperation with testing and certification.
    • Assist in the planning, execution and witnessing of tests of Roxtec products by appropriate testing facilities.
    • Create and maintain product test report documentation as needed.
    • Participate in analyzing product deficiencies and production problems and initiating corrective Engineering Change Requests (ECR's).
    • Provide technical assistance to Outside Sales, Inside Sales Support, and direct requests from customers as necessary.

    • Must be a self-starter and capable of managing projects from start to finish.
    • Must have an aptitude for detail, accuracy, and excellent organizational skills.
    • Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret codes, standards, and regulations.
    • Must be able to effectively communicate technical information to all levels of an organization.
    • Must be skilled in Microsoft products (Word, Excel).
    • Have a high level of mechanical aptitude.
    • Must be skilled in product documentation management.
    • Must possess a history of leadership, project management, and customer satisfaction.
    • Frequent travel, occasionally with short notice, is a requirement. (Both domestic and international % travel Education and Experience
    • Technical Degree or 2 years hands-on assembly experience preferred.
    • Must be mechanically inclined and/or have experience in industrial environments.
    • Must have excellent presentation skills and be able to meet with a wide range of customers (engineers, installers, buyers, etc.). Physical Requirements
