- Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures with a strong focus on patient safety, comfort, and understanding.
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and answering any questions or concerns.
- Position patients correctly to obtain accurate images, utilizing appropriate techniques and equipment.
- Analyze images and data for quality control and ensure that they meet the necessary diagnostic criteria.
- Collaborate with our physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely interpretation of results.
- Maintain accurate patient records and update necessary documentation, adhering to confidentiality and privacy regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the ultrasound examination room, equipment, and supplies.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in ultrasound technology, procedures, and safety protocols.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and assist in maintaining accreditation standards.

- Valid certification as an Ultrasound Technologist (ARDMS or equivalent).
- Minimum of 5 years of recent experience in clinical ultrasound in a hospital setting.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and ultrasound physics.
- Proficiency in operating ultrasound equipment and associated software.
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, ensuring their comfort and understanding throughout the procedure.
- Excellent attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and patient caseload.
- Sonographer must be willing to work in both a medical office setting and travel on occasional mobile runs.
