- Assist the main mechanic in coordinating the repair and replacement of mechanical parts.
- Must have basic mechanical knowledge.
- Repair and replace equipment worn parts.
- Assist in repairing and replacing portable generator parts.
- Assist in inspecting machines, and heavy equipment and diagnose defects.
- Assist to test mechanical products and equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturers' specifications.
- Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment and vehicles.
- Assist to fit bearings to adjust, repair, or overhaul mobile mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
- 1 year of mechanic assisting in diagnosing and repairing. Knowledge of diesel and 2 and 4-cycle gasoline engines, generators, and hydraulic systems a plus.
- Must possess a valid Driver's License.
- Experience in the construction or contracting industry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
