    Description
    The Mechanic will work on concrete pumps, trowel machines, paving machines, saws, and other various pieces of heavy and small engine equipment related to placing and finishing concrete.

    Responsibilities:
    • Assist the main mechanic in coordinating the repair and replacement of mechanical parts.
    • Must have basic mechanical knowledge.
    • Repair and replace equipment worn parts.
    • Assist in repairing and replacing portable generator parts.
    • Assist in inspecting machines, and heavy equipment and diagnose defects.
    • Assist to test mechanical products and equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturers' specifications.
    • Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment and vehicles.
    • Assist to fit bearings to adjust, repair, or overhaul mobile mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.

    Requirements:
    • 1 year of mechanic assisting in diagnosing and repairing. Knowledge of diesel and 2 and 4-cycle gasoline engines, generators, and hydraulic systems a plus.
    • Must possess a valid Driver's License.

    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Experience in the construction or contracting industry.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
    • Strong attention to detail.
