Job summary
The Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse is responsible for coordinating patient care delivery by the healthcare team.The nurse assesses patients, identifies nursing diagnoses based on responses to health problems, develops and implements an individualized plan of care, and evaluates the patient's response.
The nurse promotes safe passage for their patients using knowledge of patient needs and the healthcare environment to assist patients through healthcare encounters without preventable complications or delays.
