    POSITION SUMMARY


    As a Front Office Assistant, you will be part of a team that strives to uphold Unio Health Partners' mission of providing the highest level of care.

    You will be responsible for greeting patients, checking in patients, scheduling, and verifying insurance/payment. The Front Office Assistant supports the flow of patient care by providing excellent patient relations.

    What you will be doing

    Welcome patients and visitors by greeting them in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries
    Optimizes patients' satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization by scheduling appointments and follow-ups in person or by telephone and checking patients in and out
    Keeps patient appointments on schedule by notifying provider of patient's arrival; reviewing service delivery compared to schedule; reminding provider of service delays
    Ensure availability of treatment information by filling and retrieving patient records
    Answering/fielding patient phone calls in a courteous and professional manner

    What you will bring to the team

    2 years of experience in the medical field is required, urological experience preferred
    EMR system experience
    Knowledge of basic Microsoft Office
    Knowledge of Medical Terminology
    Bilingual- Armenian and English required
