    Are you ready to make an impact?About The RoleThe Manager Technical Accounting will assist in the technical review and documentation of key accounting transactions, the preparation of quarterly and annual technical accounting white papers, and the development and delivery of accounting policy training material, to ensure compliance with US GAAP.

    This position will collaborate with corporate, segment, and regional finance teams to carry out their responsibilitiesWhatYoull DoBring innovative ideas and knowledge of accounting best practices and latest industry trends to improve the overall accounting & finance functionPrepare accounting whitepapers foraccounting areas subject to estimates, judgments, and complexity (e.g., revenue, compensation, and goodwill impairment)Assist with development of training material on key topics (e.g., revenue and leases)Assist with the delivery of training materials on key accounting topics during quarterly trainings provided to regional and segment finance personnelMonitor the activities of all accounting and insurance industry standard setting bodies, i.e., FASB, SEC, AICPA, etc.

    Assist with the corporate, segment, and regional finance teams, on a consultation basis, with the appropriate accounting for revenue recognition, compensation, leases, and cloud computing contracts, among others.

    Prepare quarterly quantitative and qualitative SEC reporting disclosures, as needed disclosuresAssist with research for new and significant transactionsAssist with M&A implementation and integration activities, including purchasing accounting, fair value assessments, and related processesPrepare journal entries for new and significant transactions and coordinate with the corporate department to ensure the entries are properly recorded in the accounting systemMonitor the ongoing accounting of significant transactions after initial measurement to ensure a successful transitionConsult with independent auditors on accounting matters and disclosure requirements as required.

    What Youll Will Need To SucceedBasic Qualifications6+ years of total finance and accounting experienceBachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related business field from an accredited university in the United States.
