    Permanent on-site in office/factory setting.
    We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Buyer to join our dynamic team.

    This position is a key role within our organization, playing an integral part in the strategic sourcing and purchasing of materials and services necessary for our engineering operations.

    The successful candidate will be directly involved in the negotiation of contracts, production planning, cost reduction strategies, and materials management.

    Leverage your negotiation skills to secure the best terms and prices for all purchases, while maintaining the highest quality standards and adherence to company policies.

    Lead production planning efforts, ensuring all materials and services are acquired in a timely manner to meet production schedules and project deadlines.

    Develop and implement cost reduction strategies, identifying opportunities for savings without compromising on quality or efficiency.
    Manage the procurement of a wide range of materials, ensuring optimal stock levels are maintained at all times.

    Evaluate current and potential suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, reliability, and the supplier's reputation and history.

    Collaborate with other departments, such as finance and engineering, to forecast future procurement needs and to ensure alignment with budgetary and project requirements.

    Maintain and update records of purchased products, delivery information, and invoices.
    A minimum of 5 years of experience in a buying role within the engineering industry.
    Proven experience in negotiating, production planning, cost reduction, and materials management.
    A degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience with purchasing software.
    Knowledge of market research, data analysis, and purchasing best practices.
