    Job Description$5,000 Relocation assistance available Join CentraCare Diabetes Clinic as a Diabetes Care and Nutrition Specialist.

    The Diabetes Care and Nutrition Specialist will work as part of a team of Registered Nurses, Dietitians and Providers, in a clinic setting, to provide complete Diabetic and nutrition care for our patients.

    You will work with patients at all stages of their Diabetic journey, in both an individual or small group setting, to teach nutrition management and lifestyle and behavior changes.

    You will also work with diabetic technologies including, sensors and pumps. This position will see patients at CentraCare Plaza as well as at our outreach locations.


    Hours:
    Full-time 72 hours per 2-week pay period


    8am to 4:30p Monday-FridayEducation:
    Bachelor's Degree BS, BA in Nutrition/Dietetics/Nutrition Science or master's degree Nutrition/Dietetics/Nutrition ScienceExperience: 2 years Minimum of successful clinical experience in specialty area and demonstrated competence in teaching, orientation, leadership and communication

    Qualifications:
    Registered Dietitian (registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration) within 30 Days required. Licensed Dietitian or Licensed Nutritionist by the State of MN within 30 days required.

    National Certification as a Certified Diabetes Educator through National Certification Board for Diabetes Educators required within two years of employment.

    Diabetes experience preferred.


    Relocation assistance requirements:

    Must accept a position that offers benefits and may not have worked for CentraCare in the last 9 months.
