    What we do:
    As Sr. Quality Engineer, Quality Management System, you will support the development and implementation of Supernal's Quality Management System (QMS).

    This role's focus will be on processes with design, manufacturing, operations, and test to develop processes and procedures that are sufficient for Supernal's current needs, while working toward mature processes consistent with U.S.

    Federal Aviation Administration and other regulatory requirements.

    You will report directly to the Manager, Quality Systems and work in close collaboration with multi-functional teams, including engineering, safety, supply chain, manufacturing, test, and certification.

    Additionally, you will ensure that all Supernal quality processes are implemented consistently and in accordance with international standards and industry best practice.

    This position will be required to work on-site 5 days a week.

    What you can do:
    Responsible for the development and implementation of standard processes within design engineering, supplier control and manufacturing operations to support Supernal's QMS under the direction of the Quality System Manager
    Develop policies, manuals, procedures, work instructions, and forms for these processes to ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements and industry standards, such as FAA 14 Code of Federal Regulation Part and Aerospace Standard 9100
    Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of the QMS Audit Program, including relevant processes, strategies, and schedules. This includes planning and conducting internal audits to evaluate the performance and effectiveness of the QMS
    Drive awareness and proficiency of established procedures through communications and training development
    Coordinate working groups to develop best practices, standard operating procedures and drive continuous improvement activities
    Responsible for the preparation of metrics and reports on QMS performance, key performance indicators, and improvement initiatives to QMS Manager
    Support the evaluation and implementation of digital tools vital to operate and measure the performance of the QMS
    May require up to 25% of domestic and international travel
    Other duties as assigned

    What you can contribute:
    Bachelor's degree in quality management, engineering, or related field preferred
    In-depth knowledge of Quality Management Systems in design, development and manufacturing operations such as ISO 9001 / AS9100
    Solid understanding of enterprise systems, including ERP, MES and PLM
    Experience with development and documentation of new processes
    Proficient with data collection, transformation and visualization
    You may also be able to contribute:

    Demonstrated track record of driving quality in new production development environment
    Familiarity with Atlassian suite (Jira/Confluence), MS Power Apps, 3DX, SAP ERP, Siemens MES, Power BI
    Experience in the development and implementation of aviation Quality Management Systems for certificated air operators or aircraft manufacturers
    Experience with FAA Type or Production Certificate application and approval process
    Experience with the Advanced Quality Planning and Control Plans (APQP), FMEA, Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), MSA, and Statistical Process Control (SPC)
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    Proactive delivery of communication and follow up
    Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
    Ability to independently prioritize and accomplish work within time constraints
    Self-motivated and forward-thinking
    Proficiency with MS Office Suite

    Base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for a bonus as part of total compensation.
