    Position Overview:


    The Project Manager (Client Representative for Infrastructure / Site Utility Construction) is responsible for overseeing and managing utility installation projects from inception to completion.

    This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and delivering projects on time and within budget.

    The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and extensive experience in utility construction.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Project Planning and Scheduling:
    Develop comprehensive project plans outlining timelines, resources, and milestones.
    Coordinate with design and engineering teams to ensure project feasibility and compliance with regulations.
    Create detailed schedules to manage project phases and deadlines.


    Resource Management:
    Oversee contractor's resources effectively, including labor, materials, and equipment.
    Oversee contracts with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to secure necessary services and materials.
    Monitor project team performance, inventory levels, and delivery schedules as needed to prevent delays.


    Team Leadership and Communication:
    Lead project teams, including engineers, technicians, contractors, and subcontractors.
    Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
    Communicate project updates and issues to stakeholders, including clients, senior management, and regulatory bodies.


    Quality and Safety Assurance:
    Monitor safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment.
    Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
    Address and resolve any on-site issues or discrepancies promptly.


    Budget and Cost Control:
    Oversee and manage project budgets, tracking expenses and costs.
    Identify and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
    Prepare financial reports and projections for stakeholders, including clients, senior management.


    Risk Management:
    Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
    Ensure all necessary permits and licenses are obtained before project commencement.
    Maintain documentation and records for compliance and future reference.



    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
    Minimum of 5 years of experience in utility construction or a related industry.
    Proven track record of managing large-scale utility projects successfully.
    Strong knowledge of utility systems, construction methods, and industry regulations.
    Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
    Proficiency in project management software and tools.
    Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
    Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
    Preferred

    Qualifications:
    Professional Engineer (PE) license or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
    Experience with both underground and overhead utility installations.
    Familiarity with local, state, and federal regulations regarding utility construction.
