    Title: Web Content Quality Assurance Analyst

    Location: Onsite - Atlanta, GA

    Length of Assignment: 6 months

    Pay: 31.09 to $34.54 an hour DOE

    Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the quality and accuracy of content before it is published on our company websites. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and executing testing processes to detect defects, field problems to appropriate business teams, and recommend solutions to improve the user experience. This role requires excellent cross-functional communication skills and a strong service-oriented mindset.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Quality Assurance and Testing:
    • Design and execute test cases to ensure high-quality content on our websites.
    • Continuously scour websites to identify defects and poor user experiences.
    • Log and track defects using Test Director or similar defect-tracking tools.
    • Communicate defects to the appropriate business teams (e.g., technical, marketing, creative) and ensure timely resolution.
    • Analysis and Reporting:
    • Analyze search phrasing, category relationships, and product information for appropriate results.
    • Examine customer comments to identify trends and actionable items.
    • Validate the accuracy and relevance of content based on the weekly marketing calendar.
    • Provide weekly status reports to management, highlighting key findings and unresolved issues.
    • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Attend business operations meetings and team meetings to discuss planning, strategy, and priorities.
    • Act as a quality resource for the online marketing and creative teams, providing expertise and guidance on quality assurance and testing across different domains.
    • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
    • Continuous Improvement:
    • Measure and monitor quality data to recommend solutions for improving site performance for internal and external customers.
    • Recommend changes to the website based on improved user experience and corporate sales goals.
    • Escalate issues to management if they are not resolved within expected timeframes.

    Required Qualifications:

    • A minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance or related fields.
    • Working knowledge of web applications, service-oriented architecture/web services, and client/server technology testing.
    • Proficiency with MS Office.
    • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with cross-functional teams.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience with Test Director or similar defect-tracking tools.
    • Background in e-commerce or content-focused websites.
    • Familiarity with agile methodologies and sprint cycles.

    The target hiring compensation range for this role is the equivalent of $31.09 to $34.54 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
