    As part of our 21st Century Security vision, Lockheed Martin is investing in advancing multi-function sensing capabilities. Our Converged Sensors team is accelerating multi-function aperture & multi-function processing technologies through research, development, & demonstrations.

    Who You Are


    Our team is seeking a game-changing software engineer to help develop & implement advanced digital signal processing algorithms within high-performance heterogenous compute environments.

    In this role, you will serve as a software engineer on a product team dedicated to designing, prototyping, & demonstrating Radar, Electronic Warfare, & Communications multi-function processing algorithms & capabilities.


    Please Note:


    This position requires a government security clearance at the Top Secret level; you must me a US citizen for consideration.

    This position requires the ability to support up to 10% travel.

    A level 2 employee is typically junior-career and has 1 to 2+ years of professional experience.

    What You Will Do (The Work)

    • Collaborate with products teams prototype & demonstrate multifunction sensor processing technologies
    • Develop signal processing chains for execution in highperformance heterogeneous compute environments
    • Deploy signal processing algorithms through CUDAbased pipelines to meet project requirements
    • Utilize expertise in digital signal processing, C++, & CUDA to optimize performance for applications

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent field
    • 12+ years of relevant development experience
    • Proficiency in C, C++, & Python
    • Experience using Compute Unified Device Architecture (CUDA) for Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) acceleration
    • Knowledge of software architectures & processing approaches
    • Active or ability to obtain a DoD Top Secret security clearance
    • Ability to support up to 10% travel
    Desired Skills:

    • Understanding of Radar, Electronic Warfare, Communications systems
    • Familiarity with softwaredefined radio (SDR) concepts & implementation
    • Expertise in digital signal processing & algorithm development
    • Experience in developing CUDAbased signal processing pipelines
    • Prior experience in the defense industry or related field
    • Knowledge of Agile & DevSecOps methodologies
    • Demonstrate verbal & written communication skills
    Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

    Remote Telework:

    The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

    The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

    Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

    Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
