Salary: $175,000 $215,000 + Generous Bonus Responsibilities:

This Sr. Product Development Manager/Product Owner will lead the creation of a product development roadmap and budget to manage upgrades in a multi-tenant environment. Develop protocols and assemble resources to manage migrations and new deployments of PT products in both a hosted and on-prem environment. Determine optimal balancing between configuration verse customization of base product

Currently, this corporations Current SaaS solution is has become a de facto standard in the Right of Way (ROW) industry. The role of the product owner will be to exploit this footprint and capture market share in the remaining 100+ state and local transportation departments, agencies, and authorities by leading the technical team in implementing an upgrade strategy that meets client expectations by incorporating the most current technology to enhance our clients user experience and execute its operations more efficiently.

Lead a technical team of 10+ including Subject matter experts (SMEs) and Business Analysts, architects, developers, project managers and QA. Review their skills, ensure they have proper training in current technologies and processes and can implement the demands of a quick-paced upgrade/release strategy that enhances the user experience and is deployed in a cloud environment.

Manage the installed customer base to maintain customer satisfaction, identify and define issues affecting client satisfaction and system performance in both the IT environment and the various user groups, capture new product requirements, and propose new features and capabilities for the next round of release.

Define the product portfolio and roadmap by synthesizing inputs from the business analysts, subject matter experts and project managers interacting directly with customers, reviewing competitive product capabilities, and assessing the advances in relevant technologies.

Collaborate with R&D to translate customer needs into product feature requirements; Lead the definition of user stories that articulate how the customer intends to use a new product capability.Requirements:

A proven record managing the technical operations in upgrading a commercial software product from requirements gathering through development/configuration, QA testing and migration for a commercial multi-tenant solution. It must be for products that are sold as a SaaS or enterprise license to other businesses (government or commercial) in a hosted or on-prem environment as compared to just managing internal solutions for a company or agency

Demonstrated management of the process for defining upgrade functionality/benefits through multiple releases (at least two versions) and that was done on time and within budget.

Experienced creating and guiding teams to manage the entire product life cycle and development process and insured teams stayed technologically current and able to adapt to new hardware and software technologies. The software product must also work on mobile devices and incorporated a public portal.

Must have strong expertise in shaping the products UI/UX.

Understanding of software technologies including Cloud/SaaS, Microservices, CBOSS, GIS, RDBMS, APIs Javascript, and various data analytical tools such as Izenda, Power BI and Tableau Well organized and disciplined in running a technical development team for a profitable enterprise where meeting deadlines and products for brining products online is essential.

Effective people management skills to motivate and guide staff and aspire to meet high performance standards.

Has successfully used DevOps methodologies in managing technical teams to streamline the process for upgrading products in both a cloud and on-prem environment

Ability to construct and articulate a value proposition for a software product solution.

Possess prior working experience in an Agile development environment and be familiar with the process and the various roles such as scrum master, stakeholder, etc.

Previous product manager experience or will at a minimum have an appreciation for whats involved in managing a product feature roadmap, aspects of product lifecycle management including release maintenance and support, value based pricing, and software licensing models., all in the context of driving revenue and profitability (The product management experience must be of a commercial nature and not limited to products limited to in-house operations).
