    Position Summary:

    Responsible for the management of IT Security systems in a large enterprise, and designing, implementing, and maintaining security measures to protect our organization's computer systems, networks, and data from cyber threats.

    This position will be responsible for identifying threats and vulnerabilities in systems and software, then applying their skills to developing and implementing high-tech solutions to defend against hacking, malware and ransomware, insider threats and all types of cybercrime.

    This senior position will also serve as a subject matter expert to help mentor more junior members of the team.


    Essential Functions and Responsibilities as Assigned:

    Engineer security solutions without oversight while collaborating with multiple internal departments and vendorsMentor more junior technical members of the organization, best practices and standardsAnalyze security systems and seek continuous improvementsPlan, implement, manage, monitors, troubleshoots and upgrade security measures for the protection of the organization's data, systems, and networksResponding to all system and/or network security breaches.

    Performs cyber security incident triage, reviewing logs, and performing remediation activitiesEnabling the appropriate security controls to protect the organization's data and infrastructureResearch vulnerabilities, perform vulnerability scanning and alleviate threatsDevelop new processes while cross-training coworkers and assisting employees on security-related mattersQualifications:Required:High School diploma or GED7 years' experience in Information Technology with 5 years in a security focused role3 years in Security Engineering in multiple disciplinesAbility to travel to other McLaren subsidiaries as neededExperience in large enterprise cybersecurity environmentsPreferred:Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field10 years' experience in Information Technology with 7+ years in a security focused role5 years in Security Engineering in multiple discipline#J-18808-Ljbffr
