    The Role

    We are looking for an External Reporting and Technical Accounting Senior Analyst to join our Accounting team. In this role, you'll become an accounting and disclosure subject matter expert and will keep up to date on various new and existing requirements and guidance. You will combine the responsibilities of technical accounting advisory and external reporting, helping to ensure that the company's public financial statements and other SEC filings are of the highest standards of quality, U.S. GAAP-compliant, and useful to management and the investing public.

    What You'll Do:


    • Project-manage quarterly and annual external reporting processes, review documents to ensure quality and consistency, and assist with drafting certain components

    • Monitor, research, and interpret new and proposed accounting regulations and pronouncements to support key stakeholders in assessing financial, operational, and reporting implications; assist in implementation of solutions

    • Aid in interpreting U.S. GAAP and SEC standards to determine the accounting and disclosure treatment for new, material, complex and/or unusual transactions or agreements

    • Oversee suite of accounting policies and the related governance processes over policy review and maintenance; assist with developing and implementing policies where gaps exist

    • Assist in preparing materials for presentations to management, disclosure and audit committees, and earnings releases

    • Collaborate with finance and accounting leaders to deliver training on relevant accounting topics to company personnel

    • Become proficient in external reporting system to coach team and other stakeholders on usage

    • Identify process improvements and assist in the implementation of related processes and controls

    • Perform all other relevant activities relating to job accountabilities as the need arises

    What You'll Bring:


    • 5+ years of experience in public accounting, external/financial reporting, and/or technical accounting/accounting policy

    • Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and organizational and project management skills

    • Effective written and oral communication skills: ability to document and communicate technical positions to both internal stakeholders and external auditors; ability to explain accounting and disclosure impacts to non-accounting teams

    • Fluent in financial statements; understands P&L, BS, and CF implications of decisions

    • Comfortable with systems, data, and reporting; NetSuite and/or Workiva experience a plus

    • Experience in the semiconductor industry and/or publicly traded commercial company with consolidation a big plus

    Education:


    • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration

    • Certification/Licensure: CPA strongly preferred

    Pay and Benefits

    Ampere offers a competitive total rewards package that includes base pay, bonus, stock, and comprehensive benefits. The full base pay range for this role is between $94,000 and $156,000. We also offer an annual bonus program tied to internal company goals and annual meritocratic stock awards that enable our employees to participate in the success of the company.
