Description

As a Dermatologist for Swope Health, you will be part of a team of caregivers to provide care for the members of our community that need it the most.

The Dermatologist will diagnose, treat, and help prevent diseases or other conditions of the skin through a combination of research, education and experience.

The Dermatologist provides each patient with outstanding dermatological care, with the goal of improving access to dermatology services in our underserved community.

Conducts thorough skin examinations and records patients' health histories.
Performs incisional biopsies to diagnose melanoma and skin surgeries to improve appearance, make early diagnoses, or to control diseases such as skin cancer

Provides therapies such as intralesional steroids, chemical peels, and comodo removal to treat age spots, sun damage, rough skin, discolored skin, or oily skin.

Evaluates patients to determine eligibility for cosmetic procedures such as liposuction, laser resurfacing, and microdermabrasion, and performs procedures as required.

Reviews current literature, collaborates with colleagues, and participates in professional organizations or conferences to keep abreast of developments in dermatology.

Adhering to infection-control policies and protocols to protect patients and employees
Doctorate Degree in Medicine
Licensed to Practice Medicine in the states of Kansas and Missouri.
Board certification or residency training required and experience desired
